I have been invited to join the McCormack Writing Center (formerly Tin House) 2026 Speculative Online Workshop this fall. I'm very excited for this opportunity and am looking forward to participating in Gerardo Sámano Córdova's workshop.

I'm happy to announce my appointment as Faculty Advisor to the Sierra Nevada Review. As a recent graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe's low-residency MFA program in Creative Writing, I'm honored to continue mentoring the journal's editorial staff and support the publication in showcasing outstanding contemporary writing.

I participated on a Hackfort panel discussing the use of AI in art, "AI and the Artist Journey: Renaissance or Reckoning?"

I will be reading at this year’s Storyfort in Boise, Idaho as part of “This Is The Place: Night Two at Ochos,” Friday March 27 from 5-7pm.
I officially graduated, earning my Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe. Go Wolf Pack!

I’ve been selected to attend the Vermont Studio Center Artist and Writer Residency for three weeks in September 2026.

Volume 40 of the Sierra Nevada Review is now available online, featuring a curated collection of poetry and creative non-fiction from this winter’s open reading period.

I was selected to participate in a 6-month SHOW & TELL Artist Residency Program at The Common Well, in partnership with Alexa Rose Foundation. During my residency, I created a multi-paneled mural comprised of 30 individual portraits titled As Americans of Good Conscience, which was displayed as part of the Wave III culminating exhibition at The Common Well in Boise, Idaho, from February 20 - March 27, 2026.

I’ve been selected to attend the 2025 Sewanee Writers’ Conference this summer! I couldn’t be more excited to be spending a good portion of July at the College of the South in Tennessee with a gaggle of talented writers, agents, and editors.
